HALO is Coil Spot line of roll forming accessories for metal roofing and panel systems. It includes butyl tape, foam closures, ridge vent products, and Zero Drip condensation control. They are made to work with steel roofing panels and coil systems, and roll formers, contractors, and metal roofing professionals use them to speed up installation and improve sealing, ventilation, and moisture control.

HALO Butyl Tape seals panel laps and other joints on metal roofing. It has strong adhesion and UV resistance, and it stays sealed as the metal expands and contracts. 

When warm, moist air hits cold metal, condensation forms and drips. Zero Drip is a condensation-absorbing felt that soaks up that moisture and holds it until it evaporates naturally. It also reduces noise for a quieter roof. 

Most HALO products are self-adhesive and precut for a snug fit, so installation is simple. Follow the installation guidance for your specific product. Inspect closures, tape, and vents periodically for gaps, UV wear, or debris, and replace any that no longer seal properly. Both let air move through the ridge while keeping weather out. The difference is format:

  • Ridge Vent Rolls (RV): continuous 20' rolls, rated UL 900 Class II flame resistant.
  • Ridge Vent Strips (RVS, RVSR): precut strips for 3/4" rib Ag panel (RVS) or R panel (RVSR), 100 per box. The mesh is tough and doesn't wrap up on screws.
